Hilton Checkers Los Angeles

Outstanding hotel and exceptional service. Mia, the hotel manager, and her team delivered some of the best guest service I’ve experienced: genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. Hilton Checkers Los Angeles is a top-tier property, and I highly recommend it.

What a hidden gem in downtown Los Angeles! I attend events frequently at the Biltmore Hotel, but I much prefer to stay at Hilton Checkers. It’s right across the street from the Biltmore, Pershing Square, and there are great restaurants and bars right around the corner- so it’s a very convenient location. The rooms have been recently renovated, so it’s always a clean and comfortable stay. I’ll admit the parking situation isn’t great (you have to valet, and the valet team could use some improvement in efficiency), but that can’t be helped much when staying downtown. The food in the 1927 restaurant is very tasty, and throughout my multiple stays I’ve had warm and friendly encounters with the hotel staff. An excellent hotel if you need to stay downtown!

I was here for business and enjoyed my stay. My room was spotless and good sized. Bathroom was recently updated. Rates are reasonable. Bar restaurant has a limited menu but the food is good. The rooftop is gorgeous! All the employees I encountered were super kind. The location isn’t great but no worse or better than any other LA location. You just need to be aware if your surroundings. They have 24/7 security and valet which is super convenient. Extra shout out to Danny at the front desk and Carlos from security who made sure I had a fantastic trip. I for sure would stay here again.

My husband was visiting on a business trip. His stay was wonderful until the time of check out. He was not informed how valet parking after hours was to be charged DAILY to his account and when it was time to leave, he was had an outstanding balance. This experience left a sour taste in his mouth for this location. Hilton needs to inform their guests before checking in how the valet works and amounts charged daily so this doesn't happen again.

I was there mid Sep, the rooms are cozy and great view of downtown LA, the ac in the room was not working but the manager Luis Ramirez took care of everything for me, he satisfied all my needs at a rapid pace going above and beyond to make up for that AC inconvenience. The bar has great atmosphere the drinks are good but the bartender Edwin was far from being welcoming or friendly. Valet is a bit on the pricey side. Overall, the experience was good the location is great and the hotel is always smelling awesome!

Free coffee in the lobby in the morning but I was hoping to get an espresso to use the credit they give you with the daily room fee, but that turned out to not be an option unless I did a sit down. Very friendly other than that. The rooms we not huge but big enough and comfy. The bathroom is quite nice, especially for the price. Will stay again when I need to be in downtown LA for work.

Claudia, Alex, and Jenny went above and beyond to assist with our work travel. They made being away from home as easy as possible, and we really appreciated it. I would certainly stay here again - awesome staff, good location, nice rooms, and good food.

The Hilton Checkers was a good choice for my business trip to LA. My meetings were at the LA Convention Center which was in walking distance. The staff were great. I was greeted each time at the door and by front desk staff. The checkin process was smooth and efficient. My room was well laid out and clean. The street noise from the neighborhood was a bit obnoxious at times throughout the night. However otherwise I had a pleasant stay.
